However, after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer that has since spread to his brain, the presenter now finds himself “at the back”.
The presenter was originally diagnosed in late 2020 but has been determined to be with his family for as long as he can.
He heartbreakingly added: “I’m weak now, fragile and my memory is terrible… but I’m still here.”
His wife, Jess, 40, has been kept busy by their three young boys, Rex, Rafa and Cormac, and told the publication that she doesn’t “have time to think”.
